Most of the bottles I’ve seen recommend either 1 or 2 pills per day depending on the dosage of each pill. It’s generally best to follow the recommendations on the bottle unless your doctor says otherwise (since they can recommend based on your condition and needs). On the flip side of that, most people can safely take 2-300 mg of Resveratrol per day.
If you are looking to buy a Resveratrol, I would avoid spam and any websites that offer free samples (as the “free trials” are hardly ever free since they have to get you to pay for it somehow). Unfortunately, Resveratrol is one of a few high powered antioxidants that are fads right now and when there is a fad, there are always people and companies that take advantage of that popularity and sell their own piece of it. The unfortunate part is that too many of those people/companies make baseless claims in order to sell their product faster and for higher prices.
It’s best to get a product like this from a company that you know and/or trust. If you’d like, I can also point out a few companies out there if you can’t find any in your local area. Good luck and I hope I helped!

And you need it as much as because . . . . .?
People spend $20 billion per year on vitamins and supplements. According to Everyday Health, here’s an article that will tell you why . . . those PRODUCTS by any other name do NOT WORK. It is false advertisements.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn’t have to approve supplements — no agency in the United States does. So it’s up to consumers to bring health concerns to light. “It’s important to understand the difference between over-the-counter medications and dietary supplements,” say Pieter Cohen, MD, an internist at Cambridge Health Alliance and instructor at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Mass. The FDA gets involved only after the fact, if the supplement later appears to be causing harm. By that time, the supplement may already have harmed many consumers who used it. “The burden of proof is on the FDA to determine [a supplement] is dangerous and remove it from the market,” Cohen says. Consumer complaints are the primary trigger for investigations. One recent investigation of the dietary weight-loss supplement ephedra resulted in it being banned for sale in the United States.
