It depends on how you mean loose fat. You can decrease your body fat percentage and increase muscle. However, it is nearly impossible to loose fat and gain muscle at exactly the same time – you loose fat by expending more energy than you consume, you build muscle by consuming more energy than you expend. The best way to loose weight in the form of fat and build muscle is to first build some muscle then to loose the fat – the problem is that when loosing fat, some muscle will always be lost too.
Some products out there can help tip the balance in your favour, but you cannot loose body fat and gain muscle at the same time – the two are sort of opposite sides of the same process. It is far easier to gain muscle first though then loose fat.

I tried researching a little but the results varied or were inconclusive. I was wondering if there were adverse side-effects that might be long term or when you come off of using it.
