Nitric oxide has the effect of relaxing smooth muscles. For the heart this would reduce blood pressure and over systemic demand. For the intestines, it can aid digestion in some patients. For the penis and clitoris it stimulates erection. Over time it can even enlarge them due to repeated excess blood in that area, but gains are minimal unless excessive time is put into it. Oh, by the way, the penis patch was invented because a heart patient wanted to be discreet about his heart patch an put it below his belt when he went to the pool. It had an uncanny effect and he and his wife resolved the “problem” in the bedroom. When he informed his Dr. science took a new turn. True story.
